The Plot
In a brand new musical comedy, Class H are preparing for their leavers production, For One Last Time, with the help of their class teacher, Mr Mitchell. Esme suggests a one woman dance revue, starring herself. Malik wonders whether his questionable keep-uppy skills will make the cut. Mrs Wood must return the feather boa and cowboy hat to the costume store after her spontaneous Dolly Parton routine at the school disco. Paul is keeping the backstage crew in check. And Poppy must conquer her stage fright to lead the school rock band in their debut performance! A feel good, laugh a minute show which explores themes of friendship, confidence-building and embracing new challenges!
Ideas for Larger or Smaller Casts
-
Some principal speaking roles can be split or merged.
-
Ensemble groupings (e.g. Additional Pupils) can be expanded or reduced as required.
-
The operation of the musical allows for a child-involved production crew.
