Fraser hails from Airdrie in Lanarkshire. He began studying piano aged 7, the flute aged 9, and has been singing for as long as he can remember!

 

In 2013, Fraser graduated with First Class Honours from the Ian Tomlin School of Music at Edinburgh Napier University, with classical voice as his principal study. He also holds a diploma from the London College of Music in pianoforte.

 

After working as an instrumental tutor, choral director and piano accompanist for 10 years, Fraser completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at the University of Strathclyde in 2023. He now works as a Primary Teacher in the North East of Scotland, where his class mascot is Peter Parrot - hence our company name!

 

From early piano doodles, to full-length musicals, Fraser has composed since the age of 12, the majority of his output being songs for children. Peter Parrot Productions is the fruit of that passion!
